1、 Principle of tank surface polishing forming (why polishing is necessary)
1. Principle of mechanical mirror polishing (mainstream 304/316L stainless steel tank)
Rough grinding: Use a louver wheel to roughly polish and eliminate weld unevenness, rolling scratches, and welding burrs, and level the tank body, head, and flange joints;
Medium grinding: gradually replace fine-grained sand flakes to reduce surface roughness and height differences;
Fine polishing: Wool wheel+polishing wax high-speed rotation friction, using micro cutting+plastic extrusion to flatten the micro peaks and valleys of the metal surface, forming a mirror smooth surface with Ra ≤ 0.8 μ m;
Electrolytic polishing (pharmaceutical/sterile tank): The tank body is soaked in electrolyte, and the metal protrusions dissolve first after being powered on. It is micro leveled, without mechanical stress, with smooth inner walls and dual effects of passivation and rust prevention.

1. Principle of material storage and static placement
The polished smooth inner wall has low friction, and liquids, pastes, and medicines will not adhere to the tank wall on a large scale:
Liquid medium: self weight flow discharge with almost no residue;
Viscous cream, syrup, sauce: The wall hanging amount is much lower than that of ordinary sandblasting/primary color storage tanks, reducing material loss.
Smooth passivated stainless steel layer isolates air, water vapor, acid and alkali, greatly delaying corrosion.
2. Principle of self-cleaning cleaning (CIP in place cleaning adaptation)
The tank is equipped with a spray ball for high-pressure flushing, and the mirror surface is free of fine pits and dirt accumulation;
Rinse with clean water, alkaline wash, acid wash, and purified water in sequence to quickly remove stains without any residual dead corners;
Polishing dense passivation film with acid and alkali resistant cleaning agent, repeated cleaning will not quickly corrode the tank body.
The sterile pharmaceutical and beverage industries must achieve cleanliness levels (GMP standards) through polishing.
3. Operating principle of insulation/mixing polishing storage tank matching

Hot water/steam/chilled water is introduced into the jacket, and the polished stainless steel has uniform thermal conductivity. The inner and outer walls are flat without any unevenness, and the temperature transmission is stable. There is no local overheating accumulation during heating and cooling.

The mixing blade and the inner wall of the tank are fully polished, and there are no wall hanging or clumping of materials during the mixing process, resulting in stable mixing and homogenization effects; After shutdown, flushing is simple and there will be no dry or thick scaling.

After polishing, the sealing surfaces of flanges, manholes, and pipe openings have high flatness, and the gaskets are tightly fitted, resulting in better pressure sealing performance. Normal pressure, micro pressure, and vacuum storage tanks can be stably sealed without leaking liquid or contaminating materials with air intake.
